Valentine’s Day dinner
The most romantic and elegant Valentine’s Day dinner in Viareggio is the one we are preparing for you in the Regina Restaurant of the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte: A sophisticated, magical location, overlooking one of the most beautiful seafronts in Versilia which will be the backdrop to a romantic evening to enjoy together.
Chef Giuseppe Mancino has created an intriguing, sophisticated menu especially for the Valentine’s Day dinner.
Valentine’s Day menu for Thursday, February 14th:
- A glass of Prosecco accompanied by anchovies stuffed with provola cheese and buffalo mozzarella, candied tomatoes and cream of endive;
- Fried artichokes, crisp shrimp, squid ink and citrus-flavoured mayonnaise;
- Spelt flour maltagliati pasta, cream of turnip tops, baby calamari and mullet bottarga (cured fish roe);
- Roast bass, yellow tomato, potatoes, olives, capers and Livorno-style sauce;
- Chocolate, chilli pepper and passion fruit.

In alternative to the dinner on Thursday, you can opt for dinner on Saturday, February 16th with the following menu::
- Aperitif;
- Salmon tataki, cream of avocado, raspberries and crème fraîche;
- Roast octopus, stracciatella soft cheese, broccoli and fried bread;
- Fresh maccheroncini pasta, Genovese sauce of vegetables, monkfish and basil;
- Slow-cooked bass with cauliflower and shrimp in orange sauce;
- Chocolate, chilli pepper and passion fruit.
