Reconfirmation of the 2 Michelin Stars at the starred restaurant in Tuscany

TWO MICHELIN STARS AWARDED TO THE “PICCOLO PRINCIPE” AND CHEF GIUSEPPE MANCINO
Viareggio, 23 November 2021 – Twenty-four hours after being awarded “Three Forks” by Gambero Rosso, the “Piccolo Principe” restaurant at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio has also received renewed acclaim, that of chef Giuseppe Mancino’s two Michelin stars.
The news was announced this evening during the 67th Michelin Guide award ceremony, held in the Italian winemaking capital of Franciacorta.
Streamed live, the event was presented by Fjona Cakalli, with the participation of Olympic swimming champion, Michelin Group ambassador and star amongst the stars, Federica Pellegrini, Gwendal Poullenec – International Director MICHELIN Guides – and Franciacorta Consortium President, Silvano Brescianini.
This is the eighth year that the prestigious two Michelin stars have been awarded to Giuseppe Mancino and the “Piccolo Principe”. Clearly delighted, Mancino said, “This is an extraordinary result and the sensation is as amazing as ever. And, for all who support and invest in us and for our colleagues and families, a source of tremendous satisfaction”.
