Christmas Lunch on the Versilia Riviera
Christmas Lunch at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio on the Versilia Riviera is one of the most eagerly anticipated events of the year.
An experience embellished by the unique charm of the Riviera together with the atmosphere of this luxury heritage hotel and a sophisticated menu that pays homage to local traditions.
The venue is that of the exclusive 2 Michelin Star Restaurant at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte in Viareggio, “Il Piccolo Principe”, which is situated in the bright veranda overlooking the seafront and the Guttuso Room on the ground floor of the hotel.
It is here that guests will be able to savour the dishes of the 2023 Christmas Lunch.
The menu created by chef Giuseppe Mancino is as follows:
Three liver pâté, ‘Lardo di Colonnata’ (fatback cured with rosemary and other herbs and spices), finely sliced ‘Buccellato’ raisin loaf and pomegranate
Grilled artichoke, poached egg, potato foam and fried leeks
Tartare of beef supplied by Arezzo butchers, Fracassi, pecorino truffle caviar and fried bread
Raviolini pasta with three meat roasts served with fonds de cuisine, butter, sage and crunchy vegetables
Casentino pork turnip tops, Annurca apple and lemon grass sauce
Mandarin, kaki persimmon and Mediterranean maquis honey dessert
Peanut, ‘Barolo Chinato’ aromatic wine and candied black cherry dessert
Milanese Panettone traditional Christmas cake served with zabaglione
€120 per person, beverages not included.

€60 for children aged 7 to 11, children’s menu and entertainment included.
