Giuseppe Mancino

Originally from Salerno, Giuseppe Mancino has become one of Italy’s most respected culinary figures, renowned internationally for his refined interpretation of Italian cuisine. He has been at the helm of Il Piccolo Principe since 2005.

His career was shaped by formative experiences working with some of the most influential figures in gastronomy, including Rocco Iannone, Davide Raschi, and Gualtiero Marchesi. He later joined Alain Ducasse's team at Louis XV in Monaco. These experiences have inspired him to pursue a cuisine that balances technical precision with lightness, harmony and creativity.

After establishing a connection with the Principe di Piemonte Hotel, the chef fell in love with Viareggio and decided to make it his home.
