The Chef
Giuseppe Mancino was born in Sarno (SA) in 1981. After attending the Hotel School of Salerno, he began his professional career in prestigious hotels and restaurants, and in 2005 arrived at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte as chef of the restaurant “Piccolo Principe”.
With the chef in the kitchen, the restaurant has obtained important recognitions, such as entry with top scores in the most prestigious restaurant guides, including Gambero Rosso and Espresso, culminating in the first Michelin star awarded in November 2008, followed by a second star in 2014.
Giuseppe is passionate about creative cuisine, but at the same time the classics, which do not alter the genuine flavour of the ingredients.
As a professional he was inspired by the famous chef Alain Ducasse.
