Giuseppe Mancino was born in Sarno (SA) in 1981. After attending the Hotel School of Salerno, he began his professional career in prestigious hotels and restaurants, and in 2005 arrived at the Grand Hotel Principe di Piemonte as chef of the restaurant “Piccolo Principe”.
The restaurant, with him in the kitchen, was widely recognized as a new entry with top reviews in the most prestigious guides including the Gambero Rosso and Espresso, leading to a Michelin star in November 2008. Giuseppe is passionate about creative cuisine, but at the same time the classics, which do not alter the genuine flavour of the ingredients. As a professional he was inspired by the famous chef Alain Ducasse, hoping one day to have his same innate humility and fine expertise.
